2021 Coloring Contest
The MASCD sponsors the state's coloring contest each year.

We ask that wax crayons be used - nothing else.
-
Judging will be based on neatness, attention to detail and how well directions were followed.
-
Please have each child fill out the block on the back of their entry or attach a 3 x 5 card with the contestant's name, address, age, grade, class, county, and home phone number.
-
Open to residents of Montgomery County only. If you are outside of Montgomery County, please contact your local district to participate. If you need help identifying or locating your district, please contact us and we will be happy to assist!

Guidelines:
-
Any media may be used, including paint, crayon, colored pencil, charcoal, stickers, paper, or other materials.
-
All posters must be created by an individual student, rather than a team of students. Entry must be contestant's original creation and may not be traced from photographs or other artists' published works.
-
The 2021 Stewardship theme “Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities” must be included on the front side of each poster submission to be eligible for the national poster contest.
-
NACD encourages each student to do their own work. Note: Entries with student handwriting and coloring will score better than those designed, drawn, and colored by adult assistance.
-
Open to residents of Montgomery County only. If you are outside of Montgomery County, please contact your local district to participate. If you need help identifying or locating your district, please contact us and we will be happy to assist!
